4 Games In, the 2005-2006 season
For archival purporses, and the fact my memory is so lousy im'a archive Bolton's first 4 games of the season. Exciting isn't it! Isn't it?
13th August 2005 - Aston Villa 2 -2 Bolton
21st August 2005 - Bolton 0 - 1 Everton
24th August 2005 - Bolton 2 - 0 Newcastle
27th August 2005 - West Ham 1 - 2 Bolton
The one thing that I have missed, much to my lament through working is Sky One's All*Star Cup 2005 - it sounded as good as it probably was, but the TV's at work don't have Sky One, so alas i haven't kept up with the results and/or procedings. If anyone could fill me in, that would be just, grand. Apparantly, ITV1 wasn't interested in it when the idea was pitched to them. But yet, they still manage to commission quality programming such as Celebrity Wrestling, Mum's On Strike and Celebrity Love Island... Although saying that, Love Island was a piece of quality programming, worthy of the Golden Rose, but the point remains, why didn't terrestalists pick this program up? Bah, damn ITV1 and there, celebrity reality shows.
To finish off tonight, although old news, still seems related to this post, and thats the stories going round that Mr. Ant and Mr. Dec will revive classic game shows. Personally, the past should stay in the past, but whatever, even its for a week at a time as suggested, i suppose it can't hurt. If it did, there's always Challenge TV to remind us of the quality that was....*sigh* ***expect changes soon***
