4 Games In, the 2005-2006 season

For archival purporses, and the fact my memory is so lousy im'a archive Bolton's first 4 games of the season. Exciting isn't it! Isn't it?

13th August 2005 - Aston Villa 2 -2 Bolton
21st August 2005 - Bolton 0 - 1 Everton
24th August 2005 - Bolton 2 - 0 Newcastle
27th August 2005 - West Ham 1 - 2 Bolton

The one thing that I have missed, much to my lament through working is Sky One's All*Star Cup 2005 - it sounded as good as it probably was, but the TV's at work don't have Sky One, so alas i haven't kept up with the results and/or procedings. If anyone could fill me in, that would be just, grand. Apparantly, ITV1 wasn't interested in it when the idea was pitched to them. But yet, they still manage to commission quality programming such as Celebrity Wrestling, Mum's On Strike and Celebrity Love Island... Although saying that, Love Island was a piece of quality programming, worthy of the Golden Rose, but the point remains, why didn't terrestalists pick this program up? Bah, damn ITV1 and there, celebrity reality shows.

To finish off tonight, although old news, still seems related to this post, and thats the stories going round that Mr. Ant and Mr. Dec will revive classic game shows. Personally, the past should stay in the past, but whatever, even its for a week at a time as suggested, i suppose it can't hurt. If it did, there's always Challenge TV to remind us of the quality that was....*sigh* ***expect changes soon***

There has been a catastrophic error

Look guys, I know its been a while, but come on, catastrohpic error? And i just realised i misspelt the word that begins with C that is on the title bar? Well, that was the error i got trying to log onto the MSN Spaces version of this site, so i guess Mr Gates has forgotten about poor ol' bbBear here in the UK, even after I spent all that money on his..... *ahem* flight simulator 2001 *ahem*

So, my frenz, whats been the happenin' haps? It's been nearly a month, and I really don't like posting just 3 paragraphs each post, so bear with me as i'll try to lay down the skinny of the past, so we'll try. The main points are I actually found a job! Or rather, a job found me. I now have the honour of being, a sales adviser, in a top department store. But keep it hush hush y'know, i don't want the whole world and its wife knowing where i work. It is long, laborious hours, but at the end of the day, i've scrimped and scraped enough to buy Kanye West's new album, so its all good. After tax, there isn't much left, maybe enough to buy a cheese roll. But they are nice cheese rolls. I mean, real cheese. In real rolls. Although saying that, I could do with one of these imported from Japan:

So aside from that, what else? Just hanging round Croydon town centre, taking in the culture and music thats around. It's funny, since i got this job, i've learnt more about Croydon than i have in the number of years of living here. I mean, the sunset behind the Purley Way, past the Ikea towers - you can't beat it. Well, locally anyway. And today was like some international arts and food stuff day in Croydon, where there was some scrum-diddly-umptious organic Polish bread. I mean, it was nice, yo. I should take pics, which i will upload from Sept. And they say the new EU migrants wouldn't be a good thing. Pish posh i say, take it from this barely-educated Hispanic economist (yes, its true).

But more over, i guess i been playing my GameCube more, getting the bargains from Ebay , and watching TV. In the spare time i have from working as a sales adviser. But just for those w/out the knowledge, Scrubs: 4pm E4, 4.30 abc1, Friends 5pm-6pm E4, and thats about it. If i was in that would be my daily routine. abc1 is of course on Freeview, and Ch. 37 is Quiz Call, which looks, tacky. But hey, i'll be watching. I just can't wait until they turn off the analogue transmitter in the next few years, then even more channels will come to Freeview. Awesome!

Anywho enough blathering from me, I shall depart to gain some much needed rest for tomorrow's shenanigans. But i leave you with 3 things. No, 4 actaully, and I want y'all to check it out otherwise i won't be happy.

1.) Check the new post from Dave's blog - first update in months (Which inspired me to update mine) - don't trust Lord Boulder's blog, he decieves.
2.) I am a bad, incredibly bad person. So don't trust or believe in me.
3.) Check out Badblogs - wicked site. Haven't got a mention so i don't know whether to be happy or sad about it :)
4.) The answer, for firefox users is Ctrl+click, IE i dont care about.

So that's it, have fun y'all and i swear down fo' sho i will update this blog more, with picatures. Exciting stuff.

Untitled (How...)

The episode of Simpsons shown today, which is around 10+ years old, where Lisa won an essay based on America and that, made laugh to the point I thought I was watching Fox News Channel (Well, i guess Simpsons are Fox property...). But if you believe that America is now a haven for justice and liberty and equality and all, i'm thinkin' what the fuck has happened in the past 10 years? I should ask my boy Cavuto, or O'Reilly, however I feel their opinion will be as fair and balanced as the channel they grace.

Anyway i'm offline for some time, there's more to life than MSN-fucking messenger, and away from all this shit. If your that desperate i'm sure you'll find other ways to contact me. Not that's high on my list of priorities. Or in the middle. At the end...??
